Precautions
- The microwave detector probe must not be pointed at objects that may be active.
- It is forbidden to install indoors because the microwave has a penetrability for non-metal, and the activity inside can cause false induction.
- There should be no excessive, too thick objects, especially metal bodies, in the detection area. Otherwise, a blind spot will be generated behind these objects.
- Microwave detectors should not be pointed at fluorescent lamps, mercury lamps, and other gas-discharge light sources. The fluorescent lamp generated directly by the 100Hz modulation signal will cause false induction, especially when a flickering fluorescent lamp is causing interference. This is because, within the flashing lights, the gas’s ionization is converted to microwaves for the reflector caused by false positives.
